Absence data

It is recommended that Absence recording and the associated configuration and calculation of statutory and occupational payments is performed in People First.

It is understood that the WFM system will need to know about absence events – whether planned future events or unexpected events – so that:

a) Schedules can be amended

b) The reason for a lack of time data is known

c) Calculation of overtime etc. that rely on knowledge of absence can be performed.

The following webhooks are available:

Bring back time data to People First

The Time pairs (clock in) import can be used via an API to allow time data to be imported into People First’s Time functionality.

The Time recording (clocking) section defines the API calls that are available to create, amend and delete time data in People First.

API calls to People First must be made using a Personal Access Token (PAT) by adding the PAT as an Authorization header on all requests. See People First API - API Documentation on how to set up a PAT token.
