Integrations - Job boards

Introduction

Job boards are used to advertise vacancies on the internet.

People First recruitment includes a job board that can be easily set up and configured to suit an organisation's recruitment needs - find out more about this here (Onboarding and Recruitment software)

In order to integrate People First with job boards such as Broadbean see below. This is an example of a partner integration with People First.

 

Broadbean

Broadbean is a job posting system that enables job adverts to be distributed to multiple job boards simultaneously from People First.

 

Key benefits

  • Faster posting to external job boards
    This integration allows an organisation to post to multiple job board channels without the need for duplicating the campaign details on multiple job sites, saving the user a lot of administration time.
     
  • Easier to manage postings to external job boards
    The integration allows the job advert to be managed for the published period, remove job adverts posted to third party websites and track the traffic (click apply) It also allows the source of the applicants to be tracked, which can be used to identify which job boards are giving you the most applicants and return on investment from external job board postings.
     

Who is the partner we integrate with?

Broadbean are a market leading provider of multi-job board software. They allow their customers to multi-post to more than  7,000  job boards in 100 countries. 

Broadbean are responsible for the initial implementation of customers who wish to use them. 

As part of the implementation phase that Broadbean undertake, they will require the username and password details for each of the job boards that the organisation have bought credits for or free to post job boards that the organisation have signed up to use.    

There is an associated Broadbean ‘user guide’ that is recommended to review as part of the implementation and ongoing use of Broadbean.

 

How it works

When creating a campaign and selecting to post externally to third party job boards, the job details including the job advert, location, application URL and salary/package details are sent to Broadbean for distribution.  

A Broadbean dashboard opens where the user can select which job boards the user can post the job to.  

Once posted, an applicant who is on the external job board can click to apply for the vacancy and are then directed to the People First job board where they apply for the vacancy.

 

Data exchange between systems

Below is the table outlining the data fields shared between the two systems (data sent from People First to Broadbean);

Campaign title The title that was given to the recruitment campaign. 
Campaign referenceA campaign reference is mandatory, in order for organisations to monitor applicant traffic for individual campaigns. 
Campaign address The address of the campaign where the job will be located. 
Job description The main description of what the job requires. 
Salary/package details What salary or package that is associated with the campaign.  

 

Summary

Use of the Broadbean and People First integration will reduce the time, dramatically, taken by campaign administrators to post their campaigns to multiple external job boards and provide accurate metrics on external job boards performance.
