Integration methods
Option 1: Combined platform use
Utilise both Docebo LMS and People First Learning module:
- Access Docebo through the 'People First LMS' button in the 'Discover' section.
- Conduct all reporting from a unified source without sacrificing functionality in either platform.
Option 2: Docebo LMS only
Select Docebo as your exclusive LMS:
- Access Docebo via a redirect from the 'Learning' link in People First. This will also provide single sign-on (SSO).
- The People First Learning module will be disabled during this setup.
How it works
- Disable People First Learning (Option 2): If you're choosing Option 2, navigate to Administration > Settings > Internal learning and select 'Disable People First Learning'.
Launch Docebo:
a. For Option 1 users: Access Docebo through the 'People First LMS' button in the 'Discover' section.
b. For Option 2 users: Click the 'Learning' key action or access the Learning tab within the 'Me' section to open Docebo seamlessly.
- Enable SSO: Configure with AAD, Okta, or Google to enable a smooth single sign-on experience between People First and Docebo.
- User Data Sync: People First will automatically create users in Docebo and update job and manager information as changes occur.
- Track Learning: Once courses are completed in Docebo, the completion record—comprising the course title, URL, and completion date—will appear in People First as 'External Learning' in the learner's history.
- User Management: If a user is removed from People First, their Docebo account is deactivated, preserving their learning records for future reference. Should they be reinstated in People First, their Docebo account will reactivate and sync back seamlessly.
