Dublin Simon Community chooses People First to drive its digital transformation strategy

Dublin Simon Community, one of Ireland's largest and most respected charities, has selected MHR’s People First platform to advance its HR operations and support a future-focused culture.
Dublin Simon Community was founded in 1969 by a group of students, who began by providing much-needed soup and sandwiches to people sleeping rough in Dublin's city centre.
Serving a dedicated workforce of around 500 employees, Dublin Simon Community chose a suite of People First tools — including HR, Talent, Learning Experience Platform (LXP), and Power BI — to streamline its HR processes, improve employee engagement, and drive organisational cohesion. The integrated learning platform ensures employees can access learning material no matter where they are based, creating a consistently positive experience.
This collaboration comes after a formal tender process where People First stood out for its employee-driven approach. Dublin Simon Community will leverage robust performance management tools to aid staff development, retention, and enhanced engagement. This is especially crucial for a charity with a dispersed workforce like Dublin Simon Community, where a connected culture plays a vital role in recruitment and retention.
People First’s integration with Microsoft Azure aligns perfectly with Dublin Simon Community’s broader Microsoft-led digital transformation strategy, making MHR an ideal partner to support its vision.
Nick Felton, Chief Sales Officer at MHR, commented: “As an organisation devoted to supporting individuals, Dublin Simon Community understands the importance of a people-centric platform in empowering its workforce. We’re delighted to play a role in this meaningful transformation, helping the team enhance the support they provide through a strong focus on their people. This partnership also reflects MHR’s growing footprint in Ireland, where we are committed to supporting organisations in achieving their people management goals."
