Honeycomb Housing chooses People First

Honeycomb brings in People First to help them create happier homes.
Honeycomb Group, based in Stoke-on-Trent, provides affordable housing - alongside domestic abuse, homelessness and home support - across Staffordshire, Cheshire East and Derbyshire.
This year, the Honeycomb team - including Zoe Hammond (Strategic Lead: People), Kate Allen (People Officer) and Charlotte Hall (Payroll Specialist) - identified the need for a modernised HR management system. They saw the value of integrated workflows and built-in reporting to remove manual workarounds, particularly around holiday and sickness tracking, and were keen to secure these functions in a new solution.
After a competitive formal tender with two other providers, People First emerged as the clear winner, delivering an innovative and efficient system that replaced complexity with simplicity. They will make the switch in March 2026.
