HR, payroll, and finance specialist, MHR, has announced it is sponsoring this year’s Rutland County Show, cementing its commitment to local community and sustainability initiatives.
Now in its 191st year, the Rutland County Show serves as a microcosm of the Great British countryside. From livestock and machinery to agricultural and manufacturing skills, the event showcases the best of rural living in the East Midlands.
The Show, which is on Sunday 1st June, continues to retain many traditional elements, and promises a jam-packed schedule of family entertainment including live music and showground displays.
There is also the opportunity to browse and shop with a wide range of trade stands – from excellent local food and drink produce to rural craftwork including ceramics, woodworks and jewellery.
Jessica Mills, Chairman at MHR, said: “With a strong connection to the Rutland County Show and the local area, we are proud of our ongoing collaboration and sponsorship of this important event in the local community calendar.
“Steeped in heritage, The Rutland County Show shines a worthy spotlight on local, traditional produce and the skills of the countryside. It’s important to support, promote and acknowledge the hard work and contribution that local communities and businesses make to the economy.”
Sophie Howsam, Show Manager at Rutland Agricultural Society, said: “MHR’s continued support as sponsor of the Rutland County Show is important. There’s a lot of hard work which goes into organising this important event by so many and MHR’s involvement helps make this happen so people can enjoy a fun day out.”
