MHR Training Courses Receive CPD Accreditation

MHR, has today announced that all its expert HR and payroll training courses have passed the rigorous assessment criteria and process to become CPD Accredited.

This stamp of approval means that MHR’s training events meet the level of expertise and knowledge required to formally support specialist career development – so candidates are rewarded as they learn, allowing them to meet the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) obligations of their professional body, employer, or both.

As change has become the norm for all thriving organisations the need to continuously develop people has grown. More sectors than ever before are formerly adopting CPD as their chosen development methodology, most recently The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals for its members. Delegates who are trained by MHR will now receive CPD credits and certification.

“We are delighted to be recognised as an accredited provider with the CPD Standards Office”, says Julie Lock, Service Development Director at MHR.
“The world of HR and payroll has been undergoing significant change in recent years and it is critical for these professionals to access high quality training. Our training team put quality at the heart of everything they do, and we believe in our values of high standards for excellency and delivery, therefore we had no doubts about undergoing the external audit as part of the accreditation programme.

Julie adds: “Independent CPD accreditation ensures that the training that MHR provides adheres to best practice principles and is appropriate for formal CPD records. It guarantees that the CPD activity undertaken is not only recognised, but demonstrates the quality of the education. MHR takes pride in championing positive professional development, and CPD supports our company in its mission to empower people in the workplace”.

Ken Pullar, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) endorses any initiative, which promotes CPD saying: “Continuing professional development is an important aspect of your career as it demonstrates to yourself and your organisation that you are developing as an individual and as an employee, continually improving and learning.  This is especially important for a career in payroll, pensions and reward as it ensures that you remain up to date and compliant on changes to policy and legislation. In payroll we are faced with constant change that means that every day we are learning new things and continuing our professional development, we just may not realise that’s what we are doing. Not to record your CPD is a wasted opportunity, as you can all too easily forget the detail of such activities and therefore miss the opportunity to promote yourself”.

MHR provides an extensive range of training courses from soft skills training to support HR professionals and people managers to systems training for its iTrent HR and Payroll software solution users.
