Our approach to sustainability touches every part of our company. From development, to the operations of our offices, and how we support our customers and local community. With a focus on our People, Planet and Profit, our initiatives are underpinned by our six priorities: Community, Climate, Resources, Trust, Generations and Equality.

Our promise to sustainability
Discover how our approach to sustainability touches every part of our company. We have been working hard to create this interactive report which covers everything from our three Ps, six priorities and all that we are committed to achieving in the next decade.
Our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

We promote healthy lives and well-being through our charitable initiatives externally such as promoting Breast Cancer Awareness month and Movember. Internally, MHR offers all employees access to Mental Health First Aiders, a confidential EAP service and a 24 GP service.

As a company, MHR aims to promote the nurturing of homegrown talent whenever possible. This is done through connecting with local schools and universities, holding specialist events and providing both placement and work experience opportunities.

Equality is extremely important within our business. We are proud of MHR's diverse community. In order to foster an environment of diversity and acceptance, all of our staff must attend compulsory Diversity and Inclusion training.

At MHR, we are always striving to move towards using more sustainable energy sources. Our new buildings at Mere Way site harness solar energy, and we provide EV charging stations on our site.

The launch of the MHR Academy has allowed young people to gain work experience in the software industry. Furthermore, as a privately owned business we foster sustainable economic growth meaning that we can invest in the things that matter.

Our two new buildings reflect our long-term commitment to our people with innovative and inclusive workspaces. Built with solar panels we are committed to offsetting the impact this development has had to contribute to a sustainable future.

Creating software that is accessible for all. When creating our software, we worked closely with the Royal National Institute of Blind People to ensure iTrent is accessible for everyone.

We have made a long-term commitment to ensuring sustainable consumption by installing solar panels on the roof of our buildings and car park. We also recycle 98.2% of our waste yearly and have invested in clean energy sources.
