With over 3,000 employees, Robertson Group needed a software solution that reduced admin and paperwork while giving managers access to information quickly.

Challenge

Robertson Group operates across the UK as a family of businesses covering Construction, Infrastructure Services, and Home Building, including Facilities Management. 

Robertson Group was struggling with paperwork and manual processes taking up a lot of HR time. Also, due to a lack of employee information being accessible by managers, training that was provided to increase skill sets and health and safety weren't fully attended to, resulting in expensive sessions being repeated.

Solution

People First met all of Robertson's requirements and they had a "really positive experience with the implementation of People First", stated Nadia Wilson, HR Project Assistant at Robertson. The software solution brought multiple benefits and even allowed James Higgins, Construction Director Scotland at Robertson to "get full attendance at the training" sessions he planned, as he was able to view worker's holiday bookings to ensure they didn't clash.
