SHRM 2024: Wrap Up
We’re back from SHRM 2024! Here’s what we learned…
It was an amazing experience to be part of one of the biggest HR events in the USA. The event floor was packed full of amazing vendors and HR professionals all sparking great conversations over the course of a busy few days.
We spotted two key topics.
AI in HR
AI has been at the top of the agenda in just about every area of business, and HR is no exception. We’re all looking for ways to build it in without compromising on what makes HR so important- the human element.
Civility
The world of work can be difficult to navigate, which is why so many employees are putting their experiences at work first where they can. They want a workplace that treats them with empathy, considers their unique needs, and that they can build a life around. So many people were having great conversations about civility in the workplace, and how to create a culture that has employees building each other up.
Plus, we were constantly visiting the Civili-tea stand, so the topic stayed fresh in our minds!
