Our initiatives in focus

Community

We support local communities with our hiring, charity work, and using local suppliers wherever possible. From specific fundraising events to longer-term efforts such as recruitment fairs, we strive to make a positive impact on people.

Climate

At MHR we’re working to reduce climate change. We will be carbon neutral by 2028 (scope 1 and scope 2 operations) and have installed 400+ solar panels – providing 100% renewable energy across our sites.

Resource

We use sustainable and renewable resources wherever possible, sourcing locally and responsibly. We’re becoming a more circular business, working with specialist partners such as Enva to recycle waste and EnviroElectronics on technology hardware disposal.

Trust

Fair social and ethical standards are at the heart of MHR, building a workplace that’s welcoming to all. All employees have 24/7 online medical advice, as well as support for mental health needs, and we have an established diversity and inclusion program.

Generations

We’re proud that so many people pursue a lifelong career with MHR. We provide learning and development opportunities to support this, from graduate and apprentice programs to internal trainers that nurture existing employees.

Equality

We’re an equal opportunity workplace, committed to being a great place to work for anyone and all – regardless of race, religion, beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
