MHR has announced it is sponsoring the Rutland County Show for the second year running, cementing its commitment to the local community and sustainability initiatives.

Now in its 189th year, the Rutland County Show serves as a microcosm of the British countryside, showcasing the best of rural living, from livestock to machinery. In addition to animal showings and horticultural displays, attendees can enjoy scurry racing competitions and a motorbike show from the UK’s number one display team.

“With a strong connection to the Rutland County Show and the local area, we are pleased to provide a commitment to such a fantastic occasion for the second year in a row. As the challenges of the last few years have undoubtedly been difficult for businesses in the local area, it is more important than ever to support our community, and the Rutland County Show shines a worthy spotlight on local traditional, produce and processes,” said Anton Roe, CEO of MHR.

“We are so pleased to have MHR deepen their involvement as one of the key partners of The Rutland County Show, as the family business continues to embody the Rutland spirit of community,” said Sophie Howsam, Show Manager at Rutland Agricultural Society.

This year, Rutland resident & co-founder of local charity For Rutland, Elizabeth Mills, has been elected president of the show. For Rutland’s aim is to raise funds to pay for specialist advisers at Citizens Advice Rutland, who support residents with long-term health conditions.

MHR is offering 25 families of four the opportunity to win an entry pass for the day, worth £44. For a chance to win, please send your contact details to the Show Team: events@mhrglobal.com

Names will be picked at random at 9am on 1 June and the winners will be notified by phone.
