The Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC), a leading facilitator of private sector investment in low carbon energy, has pivoted from MHR’s iTrent platform to MHR’s People First to support the next stage of their business growth.

LCCC, which plays a crucial role in helping Britain achieve its Net Zero obligations, wanted a single, integrated platform that could grow and adapt with its changing needs. Their ambition focused on developing their onboarding process and maximising the information they had stored within their system.

LCCC’s move from iTrent to People First is the ideal solution for the next step of the business’ journey. It enables the organisation to simplify and automate its HR processes, including payroll, pension data services, recruitment, talent, and performance management. Underpinned by a single database for improved data visibility, the platform provides the organisation with valuable insights into workforce trends to help build a more connected and engaged workforce.

LCCC is also adopting People First’s Payroll services, ideal for the company’s growing operations. MHR’s People First Learning Management System will create and manage personalised learning paths for every employee, with access to nearly 100,000 learning materials.

With MHR’s keen focus on sustainability, which includes responsibly sourcing materials used across its sites, the partnership is a natural fit.

“As a growing company, we needed a single platform that would allow us to simplify and automate processes, saving our employees’ precious time,” said James Richardson, Head of People Services at The Low Carbon Contracts Company. “MHR People First offers us smart, simple and flexible solutions that fit our remit. The team have been fantastic at helping us achieve what we need and are always on hand to help with any questions while we implement the solution.”

Anton Roe, CEO of MHR, said: “We’re pleased that LCCC have decided to continue their journey with us at MHR. The move to People First is the ideal and natural fit for the organisation, enabling the business to simplify its approach to HR and automate key processes such as payroll, while providing the flexibility to cater for LCCC’s growing team and changing requirements. Both LCCC and MHR share an outlook on the importance of sustainability and building a better world for future generations. We are positive our continued partnership and the current ongoing implementation of People First will support the next stage of their business growth.”
